Flex-Algo

This lab demonstrates the use of Flexible Algorithm. Links have been colored using Flex-Algo affinity bits as shown in the diagram. There are 3 Flex-Algo definitions, defined and advertised by PE1:

Flex Algo 140 – Only use GREEN links
Flex Algo 150 – Only use RED links
Flex Algo 160 – Avoid any GREEN links

Both of the CE devices advertise prefixes into the ACME VRF. SR policies on PE1 steering traffic into different Flex-Algos. VPNv4 updates with color 40 are steered into Flex-Algo 140, color 50 is steered into Flex-Algo 150 and so on.
